Synopsis: The Legend of The Gray Man is loosely based on and old Ghost Tale as told throughout Pawley's Island, SC dating back to the 1800's. Doug McAllister, a northern transplanted in the South with his wife and two daughters and mother-in-law (nearby)runs a local hardware/lumber store. Doug is a non-believer when it comes to the Supernatural, but after experiencing mother natures wrath that one evening, something changed his mind. While Sandy Fletcher, the local young weather guy from the mid-West, loves good ghost tales and searches for the truth behind the Legend. Sandy does find what he is looking for on that same night and before it transpires, he trys to warn others of impending danger as well.

At the hospital, the young man meets the interventionist who is reminded of another young troubled man who the interventionist use to treat as a patient. As the two of them walk around the hospital, the interventionist talks about the other troubled young man, however, eventually, the young man realizes this other young troubled man does not even exist - and he is right - he does not exist - not anymore anyhow. Once the young man sees himself on life support, if the young man wants to move on to his life after death, then he must move on from the life he left behind before he died.

Doug is a non-believer, and after experiencing mother - nature's wrath of destruction, he believes he saw something, something on that dark, haunting frightful night. Doug's character is likeable. He is a family man with a great heart. He is firm in his beliefs, yet flexible in nature. He decides to pursue his search for the Gray Man due to unforeseen circumstances.
