Synopsis: Alex Fischer's fear of water has been a burden to him for over half his life, as it has been slowly chipping away at his self-esteem. In an effort to boost Alex's confidence, his older brother, Doug, encourages him to face this fear head on by learning how to surf. Alex almost drowns and during his near death experience, switches identities with another spirit- the recently deceased husband of Alex's beautiful co-worker, Bethany Simmons. Now in the body of a man who was abusive and unfaithful when he was alive, Alex is highly motivated to regain his identity. Alex eventually manages to convince Doug that he truly is not who he appears to be and pleas for his help, because that is exactly what he is going to need.
