Title: LUX

Logline: Could be the "light" the real protagonist of a story?

Synopsis: A priest studying in Rome is suddenly involved in a series of satanic murders. Magnetically fascinated by his cosmology Professor, a mysterious, cute woman, he will finally end up as the main suspect. Only through the "light" he will be able to find the great answer to the eternal struggle between good and evil.

Title: Every soul is a Battleground

Logline: Seeing that evil spirits cause Murphy's law transforms a man's life.

Synopsis: Micheal Mira learns by hacking the Vatican computer that evil spirits are the source of Murphy's Law; They make your car break down on your way to catch an important flight, they pull out your cable T.V. before the World Series. His new vision is ruining his comfortable life already, when he gains the clarity to see the state of a person's Soul. His fiance seems to be mutated with evil, and he's not so sure about himself. His truth-seeing ability tips the balance of spiritual power in the world and sets off a war between the forces of Good vs. the Demons of Christian lore, fought in the heart of Times Square. But through the cataclysm Mike is concerned less about choosing his side of the fight, than he is with getting back his chance at love. The story is written in a tongue-in-cheek style but explores classic spiritual questions: How welcome is the truth? Are politicians and lawyers really evil? Can true love transform the spirit? Title: With Friends Like These

Logline: Guilt is the ghost that haunts us all.

Synopsis: The script centers around two life long teenage friends, Noah and Dirk. Dirk has always been a bully toward the weaker Noah, who has spent half his life in mental institutions. Dirk, a loathsome character, pulls a cruel prank on Noah while they're in the woods. The prank is pulled off flawlessly, it terrifies Noah into believing that supernatural forces are at work against him, and anyone he's close to. In the couple days following the prank, Noah's terror level peaks, as a series of questionable mishaps occur around him. Noah is convinced that his death is necessary to save the lives of his friends. Noah kills himself. Dirk decides to run from his guilt, so he moves to a small town. A streak of good luck follows him. But after some weird happenings, he begins questioning why he is so lucky, and believes Noah is responsible. The lines between a guilty conscience and the supernatural are blurred, as Dirk descends into a one track mind set of setting things right at any cost.

Title: The Companion

Logline: A reclusive spinster in a shabby Martha's Vineyard mansion tries to escape the ghosts of her past by hiring a strange girl to care for her invalid brother.

Synopsis: Priscilla Bannister hires Judy Jones as an overnight companion for Priscilla's younger brother Russell. Russell Bannister is the only survivor of an auto accident in 1955 that killed two children and their babysitter as the group walked home from the annual Vineyard Fair. Russell's injuries have left him confined to an upstairs bedroom in the family's summer home. Priscilla has been charged with his care since the accident, a virtual recluse, living off the family trust fund, addicted to alcohol, cigarettes and prescription medicine. She dreads the arrival of the Fair with the deadly memories it brings, as well as some mysterious children who torment her at night during the annual event. Priscilla exploits her newfound freedom to hook up with an aging Lothario, who encourages her to sell the house and leave with him. Her attempt to start a new life ends in tragedy, as Priscilla is unable to escape the consequences of her past. (WGAE Registration # 136563)

Logline: What would come after you if you wronged the dead?

Synopsis: Abby Winter 1210 Harrison St., #1 Denver, CO 80206 phone - (303)377-0167 email - xeefrog@earthlink.net Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: Kastinar works for a law firm devoted to helping trophy wives acquire the inheritance they feel they deserve from their dying husbands. Once a body dies, however, the man doesn't always go with it. Often, the spirit visits the attorney who drafted his will, demanding retribution. Kastinar then comes to negotiate with the angry spirit. Although she is gifted in managing the dead, the ghost of Mr. Killingsman will not cooperate. Around this time she meets a stranger named Morticus. Soon she becomes the object of a vicious ghostly attack that intensifies when she discovers she is no longer fighting to save only herself. Why does Morticus change after visiting the site of a murder from 1895? Hitheran Crux is a ghost story about the agonizing need to protect love. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Title: Prairie Bones

Logline: In this little haunted house on the prairie, buried secrets are darker than a fragile family can endure.

Synopsis: After losing three children, ETHAN and his pregnant wife, PEARL, are reduced to collecting Buffalo bones on a deserted prairie to survive. Settling the West in 1871 was tough, but worse when you add lies, ghosts and a deranged mind. Ethan tells Pearl he's going to work on the railroad. He arranges for his mother, GERTIE, to come and help deliver the new baby. He leaves in spite of Pearl's mental instability and Gertie arriving injured by an arrow. The injury turns deadly. Pearl is forced to walk through the wilderness for help. She gets to a neighbor's just as an Indian raid is in progress. After a horrific night hiding next to the bodies of a mother and teenage son, Pearl gives birth, alone among the dead. Meanwhile, the ghosts of Ethan and Pearl's children visit Gertie and their father with a warning. Then they go after Pearl. Ethan returns and must face his wife's insanity, the mysterious deaths of the children, and their shared guilt.

Title: THE RED HEIFER

Logline: A tv reporter questions her own faith, when she stumbles upon the prophesied biblical "Red Heifer" and its young, clairvoyant Mennonite master, on a predestined, apocalyptic journey to Jerusalem.

Synopsis: God's most cryptic, enigmatic Old Testament commandment, concerning the mysterious "red heifer", blazes to it's New Millenium, end-of-time finale in a warm, fast moving, family, supernatural thriller. This 104 page, "G" rated fantasy was written by two seasoned and produced writers, as a high concept, biblical based, all-age thriller with twists and a bloody, inspirational, feel-good ending.

Title: My Sweet Jessica

Logline: After fifteen years waht actually happened to Amanda she had disppeared without a trace. WGAW # 1430213

Synopsis: Jason and Amanda dated for 6 years while he was in the Special Forces. With the conflicts with her mother they stop seeing each other. Two years later Amanda wanted to get back together. He was about to be discharge when he was called back for a sercet mission. He wasn't allowed to call her about the charge of plans. After 15 years John Davies the last one retires from the platoon. They are together at Jason's house to celerate John retirement. The group consists of Dr. Sam Hawkins a Psychologist, Ralph whom own an Implosion Company, and Tom Walters a Mystery writer. John mistaking calls Jason's wife as Amanda. She tells him that they never meet before and is not Amanda. Sam ask Jason what happened to Amanda? He tells them that no one knows she just disappeared. Tom inform them it about the same time when the basement floor was poured. Her mother and Amanda are entombed in concrete and waiting to get out. Jason soon discovered that she has a twin sister that she never mentioned.

Title: Pegas End

Logline: Doah Tapier killed 10,578 people. Before he died.

Synopsis: Death is Executioner Tapier's trade. Decapitation by sword, bludgeoning with a dull ax, slow, torturous death of one thousand cuts - he has mastered them all. In a time when death sentences can be bought from corrupt judges, Doah wants nothing more than to kill his prisoners quickly and efficiently - his increasing celebrity means nothing to him. In fact, the very idea of being civil to people has never crossed his mind. Until he meets Pegas. A woman with a glowing smile and sharp tongue, Pegas is chosen to be his correspondent. She finds his business conduct vile, and his bullying behavior incredibly rude. Yet he kills people with such kindness. Death itself is quite pleased with Doah's methods, and sends a spirit to reward him with a gift. Unable to decide on a gift, they give Doah a choice. Once he chooses poorly, the spirit has no choice but to mortally wound Pegas.

Title: THE BAKER

Logline: A vacationing family accidentally stumbles into a cursed mansion and awaken an evil entity that threatens to imprison them. Their son must find a way to reverse the cures and save his family.

Synopsis: In 1910 a baker and his family are accused of corrupting a religious village. The Baker's young daughter, Nora, survives the villagers' murder attempt which claim both her parents' lives. She seeks revenge by aligning herself with an evil witch and cursing the entire village. One hundred years later the curse is awakened by a Suburban family on vacation. The family's bitter 17 year-old son, Brandon, overcomes a series of evil spells in order to save his own family and reunite Nora with her family in the afterlife.
