Title: Convenient Store Four

Logline: Heat without the seriousness but with the same end result.

Synopsis: Convenient Store Four is about four knucklehead friends that turn to criminal mischief because they are tired of making a living that amounts to squat. It is a humorous story full of silly situations and debacles only these guys can get themselves in to. In the end, they end up losing more than they ever gained and that's it. I feel my characters and dialogue separate my stuff from the rest. I have worked with an industry consultant to make sure my format is correct. Look me up on Myspace.com to view some pics and some stuff I've written on my blog. I will be moving to LA soon. Call me at (979) 218-8561 or email me at jbb5817@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Title: The Umpire

Logline: The Umpire is a story of an irresponsible umpire who upon returning home from a failed Las Vegas marriage faces family turmoil and competition from an old high school rival.

Synopsis: The Umpire is the story of an irresponsible umpire, Gregg Gannon, who returns home from a failed Las Vegas marriage to face family turmoil and competition from an old high school rival. Gregg must decide between being a responsible, well adjusted adult or continue his pursuit of umpiring in the major leagues. After spending several years playing competitive sports the lifestyles and habits of umpires appeared like more of a sub-culture to me than a profession. The entire "be seen but not heard" philosophy of officiating offers a rare comedic value which drove me to put this screenplay on paper. I'd like to submit The Umpire for your consideration and possible representation. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,

Title: retail 101

Logline: recently I have wrapped up writing Retail 101. This is a humorous look into the world of Big Box Retail, from the perspective of a retail store manager.

Synopsis: Tenured store manager Stan, escorts us through the trials and tribulations of an outlandish day in the retail world. Along the way you will be exposed to ridiculous customer encounters, field management oversights, as well as the outsourced helpdesk to third world countries. Can stan last through the day, or be swallowed up by the drones? I had the opportunity to bring my 20 years of Retail Management experience to life in this script. This screenplay is registered with the WGA#1492929 If this has piqued your interest, I am seeking representation. I would be happy to send a hard copy of the feature length screenplay for your consideration. thank you

Title: Skirt Chaser

Logline: A womanizer gets paranoid and funny things happen when he suspects that someone's out to kill him. He's still going to try to hijack another guy's girlfriend, though.

Synopsis: Somebody's gonna whack Joey (rumor has it), and he doesn't know who because nobody really likes him. You can't teach an old dog new tricks either, so he's not about to change his evil ways when it comes to pretty women. You have a doll like Molly on the planet you might as well grab her and sweat the boyfriend later. No problem (he figures), since he's so expert at looking over his shoulder. Too bad he's looking over the wrong one. This is my first script, though, I'm no stranger to the comedy genre. My standup material has been performed by working stage comics from Caroline's to the Improv. I've published humor/satire in: Mother Jones; Yankee Magazine; Maxim Magazine; Philadelphia Style and some adult stuff for the Flynt Group (Larry). I'd be happy to forward a copy of the WGAE registered script if it's something that might be of interest to you. Title: Jazz & Gumbo Bar & Grill

Logline: A priest goes on sabbatical to run a woman's bar and watch her child while she goes away for a medical emergency when he learns that he fathered the child years earlier before he became a priest.

Synopsis: I never met my father...but maybe TJ will in my high concept comedy, Jazz & Gumbo Bar & Grill. TJ's mother Helen has a medical emergency and needs someone to run her bar and watch TJ while she's away for treatment. So she tracks down TJ's father and tells him a secret that she's been keeping ever since he dropped out of college 18 years ago...to join a seminary. Father Mack travels to New Orleans to give a mysterious woman the Last Rites Ceremory. But the woman, Helen, isn't so mysterious and she's not the one who needs the ceremory. When he learns that he's TJ's father, he agrees to stay for a month while Helen is away, and meets a man at the bar with a bomb in a bag and says he needs a priest...for his Last Rites. I wrote this story because it's my story. It's a conversation with the father I never met. I've been writing it in one form or another all my life. I'd really like to work with you on this project. May I send you my script?
