Synopsis: In this time that we are living in there are two things that are true. The first thing being that life according to the news is depressing. The second thing being that a good film has the ability to restore lost hope. And hope is something that is needed in this time of economic struggle. My screenplay has the potential to be the type of film that can bring hope to our generation. Nicole is a recent college graduate who is ambivalent about her future. All she knows is that she wants to sing. But she is too scared to live her dream until she meets Giovanni. Giovanni is a music virtuoso visting from Italy, who is also ambivalent about his future. When Giovanni meets Nicole, he offers to teach her to sing, and by doing so, he brings Nicole and himself back to life. Nicole and Giovanni fall in love, but their love is never realized because of the other life that Giovanni is destined to live in Italy causes the demise of what would be.
