Synopsis: The film opens with a close-up of an old-style juke box as the tone arm lowers onto a record. We hear Robert Johnson singing "Come On In My Kitchen". The scene then fades to him strumming and singing at the legendary Crossroads depicted here as two rural roads. He is approached by a young couple who ask him for directions to "A place that's near here". After he directs them they quickly arrive at this great roadhouse with the sound of music getting louder as they approach. The rest of the movie will take place inside this venue where one great singer after another will perform, presented as realistic CGI avatars of themselves. Some of them are Jackie Wilson, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and Ike & Tina Turner. The atmosphere is casual. All of the songs will be original versions. There is dialog between songs involving people in the audience many of whom are also famous singers.
